Stillborn Democracy in Egypt?

The very fact that the Egyptian military has deposed the first democratically elected president of Egypt is the strongest single piece of evidence that the government of Mohammed Morsi was that country's best hope for the initial stages of the country's transition to viable democracy and the rule of law.
